Saying goodbye to my volvo. now what?

OK Gearheads, my trusty Volvo S60 has seen better days. Little leaks and squeaks here and there and over 150K miles has made me start looking. I'm not real excited about the new Volvos, but I'd like to stay in the neighborhood. Audi, BMW and Mercedes are on the list to see. And not top of the line. Probably something like a Mercedes C300 Sport or similar.

Please weigh in. Husband says I need a Ford F150. Not gonna happen. And I'm not wedded to new, but definitely certified.
